Sensing&Control is a young company, but its professional work force has more than 20 years of international experience in technology.

Narcis Avellana, CEO

Narcis has a PhD degree in Computer Science and Economics and business administration. Narcis worked 6 years in the R&D department of the Spanish Microelectronics Center. After that, he moved to Germany and worked at Siemens (Munich) for 2 years and later at Seiko Epson for 4 years. Finally he moved back to Barcelona and lead as Director of the Seiko Epson Barcelona Design Center.

Alberto Fernandez, CTO

Alberto holds a Computer Science Degree and Master degree in microelectronics. Alberto worked in the R&D department of the Spanish Microelectronics Center. Then he worked as R&D engineer at Microson, a Spanish leading company in the development of hearing aid products for the global market. Following this, he worked as Technical Manager of the Seiko Epson Barcelona Design Center, developing ASICs within the EMEA area.

Joan Escudero, Marketing&Sales Director

Joan holds a Computer Science Degree and Master degree in microelectronics and also a Master degree in project management. Joan worked in the R&D department of the Spanish Microelectronics Center. Then he worked as R&D engineer at Trend Communication, a Spanish leading company developing telecommunication products for major telecom operators. After that he worked as Business Development Manager of the Seiko Epson Barcelona Design Center, with responsibility for developing and growing the ASIC market within EMEA area.

Richard Croyle, Director of Research & Development

Richard holds a First Class BEng(Hons) Electronic Engineering degree from Staffordshire University (UK) and Chartered Engineer(CEng) status from the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Richard previously worked for 11 years at Nokia developing hardware and systems technology for mobile handsets that have been sold in quantities of millions. Richard held positions from Design Engineer to Platform Manager with his work placing him at the forefront of world leading technology.
