Typical applications include data transfer to mobile devices, such as heart rate, tilt, audio data to and from a phone or a watch, for example. While technologies such as 802.15.4 and Zigbee are home area networks (HAN - Home Area Network), Bluetooth is used in projects that require a personal area network (PAN - Personal Area Network)
