A World first, S&C present nRescat
A system for live monitoring of Emergency Personal vital signs using the Tetra Network.
Biomonitorisation
Until now Emergency telecontrol systems relied on inferred data, attempting to determine the state of health of emergency personnel from third party information. nRescat uses a sensor worn directly on the body that collects the following real time data: Heart Rate, Breathing Rate, Skin Temperature, body movement status(walking, running, inclined, fallen down)
nRescat uses the Tetra network to transmit live data from the wireless sensor to the Incident Command Post. Unlike competing communication technologies, Tetra is already used by emergency services the World over, having very good penetration and coverage both outside and Inside of Buildings.

Early warning
As soon as any respiratory, or other vital sign degradation is noticed emergency personnel may be evacuated, or directed to the aid of a colleague.

Low Weight, maximum comfort
With a sensor weight of less than 100 grams, wirelessly connected to the Tetra radio via Bluetooth® and attached to a flexible support designed for use by professional sports men and women as well as emergency service personnel, wearing comfort and performance is assured.

Multiuser
Multiple team members may be connected to the same live SW platform that provides clear, live information both to the Incident Command Post and (optionally) to the emergency service’s head office/station.

nRescat Example Applications
Targeted for extreme urban fire scenarios where temperatures can reach 800°C, lets Emergency and Security services front line coordinators, monitor and control the safety of their complete team, in Real Time.
