Zephyr offers remote Physiological Status Monitoring (PSM) for both personal use of sports equipment as well as in Industrial and Emergency Service scenarios.
It is more than just a heart rate monitor. Zephyr PSM combines heart rate monitoring with breathing, level of activity, temperature and measurements of body posture.
Zephyr Solutions (PSM) are designed to measure and monitor the vital signs of individuals and teams in training, or workers when deployed in hazardous environments. By monitoring the levels of fitness, fatigue and possible traumatic events, response teams, military personnel, professional and amateur athletes:
- Measure, monitor and improve performance and endurance.
- Predict and prevent dehydration and injuries caused by heat stroke, exhaustion and stroke.
- Identify the severity of the injury due to trauma and ultimately save lives.

Zephyr ™ technology gets data from the body through intelligent sensors. These sensors are comfortable, able to integrate and operate in the field in hostile environments and in the exercise.
Zephyr ™ offers custom interfaces and communication standards for information where needed, either locally or remotely (at a checkpoint in a medical center, etc).
The data are presented locally in a PC and using Web applications, for which data are useful within the framework of situation and the user. This can be useful to help coaches in training sports equipment for doctors involved in treating the wounded, and military commanders concerned about the situation of members of his squad.
Main features are:
- Works even with extreme physical activity.
- Operates even with high humidity and sweat.
- It does not penalize the user's movements to perform their tasks.
- Low battery consumption. Suitable for long periods of time before recharging the device.
- Can be supplied in large volumes at a reasonable price.
Heart Rate
Complete analysis of the ECG (some models) under a 32-bit microprocessor. Options include electrocardiogram, heart rate, RR, VFC, noise and the amplitude of the ECG.

Respiratory Rate
Complete analysis of the waveform in breathing through a 32-bit microprocessor, using a patented technology based on a chest sensor.

Skin Temperature
The device incorporates a medical grade thermometer.

Posture
Thanks to a 3-axis accelerometer, the device eliminates the effect of gravity and can determine whether an individual is standing, leaning or lying down, giving important information on what that person is doing.

Activity
Level of activity in vector magnitude units, VMU, and can be used to meet energy expenditure (calories)

Data Recording
The BioHarness is capable of storing data up to 21 days in its internal memory. The stored data can be loaded into various application software packages for further analysis.

Radio data transmission
The BioHarness have multiple radio transmission options, such as 880/921 MHz ISM, Bluetooth, etc.
